Bestival was a bit of a downer. There was some great music - Hot Chip were going for it big time, Shit Disco sound like a shouty girl punk band fronted by boys and Kid Carpet (who makes all his tracks using kids casio keybords and alike) was genius - but the organisation was pants.

I had most of my stuff nicked on the first night (zero security and loads of people wandering round the camptsite with no wristbands) and ques for pretty much everything (one toilet block for a campsite of 15,000!).

Its on a great site though, here’s hoping they turn things round for next year.
