End of fishyness?
Written on July 29, 2006
About 6 months ago, our dodgy and ever absent freeholder decided to knock the front of the building out on two sides, install air conditioning units next to our bedroom wall and wrap a large illuminated sign around the building. All this - done without any planning permission, no building control say so and not even warning us that it was going to happen - allowed him to open a new super sketchy fish shop (that many flies in a fish shop ain’t good).
Fortunately Lambeth Planning showed an interest, lots of people objected to the work and this week he had his retrospective planning application refused on all counts! Building control and Environmental Health are on his case too.
