Whoo, new project for the Lambeth local elections. electionmemory.com lets people:

1. Add their comments directly to the
   local manifestos of the political parties

2. Find out about who is standing
   where they live

3. Tell candidates their priorities
   for their neighbourhood

4. Check previous election results
   for their ward

It uses wordpress and brings together information already available on the internet in one place. It is has even a tiny effect on turnout (a piss poor 17% in my ward) it will be well worth it.
