Whilst no one was looking the government used the excuse of a guy with a couple of flags and a megaphone to ban all unwanted protest around the UK’s seat of government. Since July, any protest   within ‘The Zone’ (and protest is very loosely defined) needs to be pre-cleared. hmmm.

My better half was stewarding at the first (legal) demo to occur after the new law came into effect and said the police were very stand offish and started getting arsey at the first sign of chanting (a threat to freedom if ever there was one).

All this should make Wednesday’s carol service very interesting. There’s got to be some sort of by-law against someone arresting someone whilst singing little donkey hasnt there?
